My mission as the product designer was to implement multi-job and multi-rate capabilities for managing workers in EC Staffing.
The current system only allows manufacturers to assign one position (aka job role) and one wage to temp workers; this limitation causes major problems because workers are often scheduled between departments, each requiring different roles and pay rates due to fluctuating demand.
I designed a solution that enables users to add or delete job roles for each worker, manage existing roles, and gain clear visibility into potential rate increases and the history for each position.
