My mission as the product designer was to revamp the current EC Staffing Invoicing module simplify temp labor invoice reconciliation between manufacturers and staffing agencies, offering accurate visibility into work hours, hourly rates, jobs worked, and more.

PROBLEM

With the current invoicing module, supervisors spend hours comparing detailed invoice data for each worker, struggling to ensure accuracy, especially if a worker switched roles across departments during the work week. Many can't complete their task of reviewing invoices, are often unsure whether they fully finished, and lack confidence in the accuracy of their decisions to accept or reject invoices.

SOLUTION

Utilizing our new design system, I designed an enhanced version of the invoicing module including new features such as invoice progress tracking, visibility into which departments still require review for each worker, improved prioritization of workers to review first, and clearer hierarchy and organization of hours, rates, and costs.
